Bishop is located in the Owens Valley of the Eastern Sierra. It’s a great destination for a climbing trip at any time of the year, and Maximus Press publishes a selection of guidebooks that have you covered for all seasons. While the Owens Valley Gorge is best visited in the spring and fall, sometimes conditions permit climbing in the hotter and colder months.
